Xanthoperla apicalis[2][9][11][13][12] är en bäcksländeart som först beskrevs av Newman 1836. Xanthoperla apicalis ingår i släktet Xanthoperla och familjen blekbäcksländor.[14][15][16] Enligt den svenska rödlistan[1] är arten nära hotad i Sverige. Arten förekommer i Nedre Norrland och Övre Norrland.[1] Artens livsmiljö är sjöar och vattendrag, våtmarker.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[14]
