Sepia baxteri[2][3][4][5] är en bläckfiskart som först beskrevs av Tom Iredale 1940. Sepia baxteri ingår i släktet Sepia och familjen Sepiidae.[6][7] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som otillräckligt studerad.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
