Jan-Olof Svantesson

Jan-Olof Svantesson, född 1944, är professor emeritus i allmän språkvetenskap, verksam vid Lunds universitet.

Svantesson skrev sin doktorsavhandling 1983 om kammuspråkets fonologi och morfologi.[1] Bland publicerade böcker finns till exempel The Phonology of Mongolian (2005), om mongolisk fonologi och dess utveckling.[2]
