Sympiesis notata[3] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Zetterstedt 1838. Sympiesis notata ingår i släktet Sympiesis och familjen finglanssteklar.[11][12][13] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[13] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
