Sthenelais limicola[1][3][4][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av Ehlers 1864. Sthenelais limicola ingår i släktet Sthenelais och familjen Sigalionidae.[16][17][18] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[18] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten S. l. novaezealandiae.[16]
