South Sudan Oyee!
"South Sudan Oyee!" är Sydsudans nationalsång. Nationalsången valdes av South Sudan National Anthem Committee ur Sudanesiska folkets befrielsearmé[2] efter lanseringen av en tävling för att hitta en nationalsång i augusti 2010. Detta föregicks av folkomröstningen om självständighet i januari 2011 som ledde till att Sydsudan blev en suverän stat den 9 juli 2011.[3] "Oyee!" översätts som "Hurra!"[1]

Kommittén fick 49 deltagarantal för nationalsången.[5] Arbetstiteln var "Land of Cush". Musiken komponerades av studenter och lärare vid Juba University.[1]
