Skogsjordkrypare (Geophilus proximus)[4][5] är en mångfotingart som beskrevs av Koch 1847. Skogsjordkrypare ingår i släktet Geophilus och familjen storjordkrypare.[6][7][8] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[8] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten G. p. rhenanus.[6]
