Save the Greenback Act
Save the Greenback Act var ett amerikanskt lagförslag som presenterades för Kongressen 1995 och 1997 vilket föreslog ett förbud mot att fasa ut den amerikanska endollar-sedeln. Lagförslaget i korthet: "Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of the Treasury and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System shall take such action as may be necessary to ensure that the number of Federal reserve notes in the denomination of $1 which are in circulation at any time does not decrease below the number of such reserve notes in circulation as of the date of the enactment of this Act." Lagförslaget presenterades i Kongressen av republikanen Thomas M. Davis i ett tal den 24 februari 1995. I talet tog han upp flera argument emot utfasningen av endollar-sedeln.[1]
