Porella compressa[1][2][3][4] är en mossdjursart som först beskrevs av James Sowerby mycologist 1805. Porella compressa ingår i släktet Porella och familjen Bryocryptellidae.[5][6][7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
