Pleurogonium spinosissimum[1][2][3][4][5] är en kräftdjursart som först beskrevs av Georg Ossian Sars 1866. Pleurogonium spinosissimum ingår i släktet Pleurogonium och familjen Paramunnidae.[6][7][8] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
