Platygerrhus affinis[1][12] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1836. Platygerrhus affinis ingår i släktet Platygerrhus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[13][14][15] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[13]
