Plakortis simplex[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] är en svampdjursart som beskrevs av Schulze 1880. Plakortis simplex ingår i släktet Plakortis och familjen Plakinidae.[9][10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
