Phoronis pallida är en djurart[1][2][3][4] som beskrevs av Silén 1952. Enligt Catalogue of Life[5][6] ingår Phoronis pallida i släktet Phoronis, fylumet hästskomaskar och riket djur,[5][6] men enligt Dyntaxa[7] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Phoronis, familjen Phoronidae, fylumet hästskomaskar och riket djur.[7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
