Phorbas plumosus[2][9] är en svampdjursart som först beskrevs av Montagu 1818. Phorbas plumosus ingår i släktet Phorbas och familjen Hymedesmiidae.[11][12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
