Parexocoetus mento[6] är en fiskart som först beskrevs av Valenciennes, 1847. Parexocoetus mento ingår i släktet Parexocoetus och familjen Exocoetidae.[7][8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
