Mesopolobus amaenus[14][9][15] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1834. Mesopolobus amaenus ingår i släktet Mesopolobus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[16][17][18] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[18] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[16]
