Mesomyia flavipes[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] är en tvåvingeart som först beskrevs av James Stewart Hine 1923. Mesomyia flavipes ingår i släktet Mesomyia och familjen bromsar.[11][12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
