Merismus megapterus[2][4][11] är en stekelart som beskrevs av Walker 1833. Merismus megapterus ingår i släktet Merismus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[12][13][14] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
