Malmgreniella castanea[1][2][10][11] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av McIntosh 1876. Malmgreniella castanea ingår i släktet Malmgreniella och familjen Polynoidae.[12][13][14] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
