Macrocoma abyssinica[1][2][3][4][5][6] är en bladmossart som beskrevs av Dale Hadley Vitt 1980 [1981. Macrocoma abyssinica ingår i släktet Macrocoma och familjen Orthotrichaceae.[7][8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
