Lamprotatus splendens[6] är en stekelart som beskrevs av John Obadiah Westwood 1833. Lamprotatus splendens ingår i släktet Lamprotatus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[7][8][9] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[9] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
