Iridothrips iridis[1][2] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Watson 1924. Iridothrips iridis ingår i släktet Iridothrips och familjen smaltripsar.[3][4][5] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[5] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[3]
