Eurystrotos compacta[4][5][6][7][8] är en mossdjursart som först beskrevs av Norman 1866. Enligt Catalogue of Life[9][10] ingår Eurystrotos compacta i släktet Eurystrotos och familjen Oncousoeciidae,[9][10] men enligt Dyntaxa[11] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Eurystrotos och familjen Diastoporidae.[11] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[11] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
