Diphascon patanei[1][2][3][4][5] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet trögkrypare, och som beskrevs av Maria Grazia Binda och Giovanni Pilato 1971. Diphascon patanei ingår i släktet Diphascon och familjen Hypsibiidae.[6][7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
