Chrysocharis pentheus[13] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1839. Chrysocharis pentheus ingår i släktet Chrysocharis och familjen finglanssteklar.[13][14][15] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[13]
