Cephalops straminipes[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] är en tvåvingeart som först beskrevs av Becker 1900. Cephalops straminipes ingår i släktet Cephalops och familjen ögonflugor.[10][11][12] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[10]
