Axinella polypoides[1][2][3][4][5][6] är en svampdjursart som beskrevs av Schmidt 1862. Axinella polypoides ingår i släktet Axinella och familjen Axinellidae.[7][8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
