Adyte assimilis[5][8][9][11] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av McIntosh 1874. Adyte assimilis ingår i släktet Adyte och familjen Polynoidae.[12][13][14] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
