Fimbriosthenelais zetlandica[1][3][8][11] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av McIntosh 1876. I den svenska databasen Dyntaxa[7] används istället namnet Sthenelais zetlandica. Enligt Catalogue of Life[12][13] ingår Fimbriosthenelais zetlandica i släktet Fimbriosthenelais och familjen Sigalionidae, men enligt Dyntaxa[7] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Sthenelais och familjen Sigalionidae. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
