Beskrivning A relatively rare occurrence of the Monterey turban snail Tegula montereyi (Kiener, 1850) (synonym: Chlorostoma montereyi) in the intertidal zone at the end of 41st street in Capitola, CA. The rarest of the four Tegula species, this one is most commonly found in kelp forests.
