Church dates from the 13th century, and the chancel was restored in 1843 the rest in 1876 and 1890. The north aisle and tower added in 1857 to 1868. The church is built in flint with stone dressings and a plain tiled roof. There is a nave, south porch, chancel, north aisle and west tower. The nave is 13th C with a 3 bay arcade. There is a blocked west doorway with three windows to the south. One is 19th-century, one is 15th C and also a restored lancet. The porch is 14th or 15th century, rebuilt in the 19th century. The roof is medieval, with octagonal crown posts, tie beam and wall posts.

The chancel is 13th century, but the north aisle is 19th-century as is the tower, which is of two stages on the flint plinth with diagonal buttresses. The reredos is in opus sectile style depicting four Angels.
