Cephalothrix arenaria[1][2][3] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet slemmaskar, och som beskrevs av Hylbom 1957. Enligt Catalogue of Life[4][5] ingår Cephalothrix arenaria i släktet Cephalothrix och familjen Cephalothricidae,[4][5] men enligt Dyntaxa[6] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Cephalothrix, och ordningen Palaeonemertea.[6] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[6] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]
