Heterocypris incongruens[5][4][3] är en kräftdjursart som först beskrevs av Ramdohr 1808. I den svenska databasen Dyntaxa[1] används istället namnet Cyprinotus incongruens. Enligt Catalogue of Life[6][7] ingår Heterocypris incongruens i släktet Heterocypris och familjen Cyprididae, men enligt Dyntaxa[1] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Cyprinotus och familjen Cyprididae. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[6]
