Barentsia discreta[1][2][5][6][7][8] är en bägardjursart som först beskrevs av Busk 1886. Barentsia discreta ingår i släktet Barentsia och familjen Barentsiidae.[9][10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
