USA:s delstatsförsamlingar

Wikimedia-listartikel

Nedan följer en lista över lagstiftande församlingar i USA:s delstater.

Varje delstat har sin egen grundlag där respektive delstatsstyre och dess lagstiftande församlings kompetenser fastställs. Dock måste dessa grundlagar stämma överens med det som påbjuds i USA:s konstitution, dvs ett republikanskt statsskick och med maktdelningsprincipen.

Med undantag för delstaten Nebraska så har samtliga delstater tvåkammarsystem som motsvarar uppdelningen i USA:s kongress med senaten och representanhuset. Namnen varierar dock, i synnerhet om ifråga om samlingsnamnet och de lägre kamrarna.
