Spea hammondii[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] är en groddjursart som först beskrevs av Baird 1859. Spea hammondii ingår i släktet Spea och familjen Scaphiopodidae.[11][12] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som nära hotad.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
