Sepietta oweniana[5][7][8][9] är en bläckfiskart som först beskrevs av D'Orbigny 1839-1841 in Férussac. Sepietta oweniana ingår i släktet Sepietta och familjen Sepiolidae.[10][11][12] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som otillräckligt studerad.[1] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[10]
