Rhyacotriton variegatus[3][7][8][9][10] är en groddjursart som beskrevs av George Ledyard Stebbins och Lowe 1951. Rhyacotriton variegatus ingår i släktet Rhyacotriton och familjen Rhyacotritonidae.[11][12] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
